Why switch between Editor and Reviewer?

An Editor's view of a Job Profile is very different than a Reviewer's view of that same Job Profile. In some circumstances, you may be an Editor on one Job Profile and a Reviewer on a different Job Profile all for the same organization. In the past, if this was the case, Calibrate would make you create a separate Reviewer account. Then you'd have to log out as an Editor and log back in as a Reviewer to review a Job Profile. Now, you can just switch roles (and views) from within Calibrate, without creating a separate account.

Note

To be a Reviewer on a Job Profile, you will have to first invite yourself as a Reviewer on that Job Profile. You will have to invite yourself each time you want to be a Reviewer on another Job Profile as each invitation is unique for that Job Profile.

Invite Yourself as a Reviewer

1] To invite yourself as a Reviewer, log into Calibrate and click the Validate icon on the left side menu.

2] Scroll through or search the Open Job Profiles Validations list to locate the Job Profile for which you want to be a Reviewer and click on it. The shareable link for that Job Profile appears.

3] Click Copy Link.

4] Open a new tab in the browser, paste the link into the address bar and hit Enter. You're taken to the Job Profile Review page. Click Register.

5] You're taken to the My Reviews page where you'll see the Job Profiles you just registered for as a Reviewer.

Switching Back to an Editor

6] From the My Reviews page, in the upper right click on your account name

7] From the dropdown menu, choose Switch Accounts.

8] From the Switch Accounts popup, click the dropdown menu arrow.

9] From the dropdown menu, choose the account you want to switch to as an Editor.

10] Click Select. You're taken back to your Dashboard for that account.
