Purpose: This document provides step-by-step instructions for editing an existing Job Profile Cluster in Calibrate. If you want to create a new Job Profile Cluster, see Create a Job Profile Cluster User Guide.
Audience: This document is meant to be used by Job Profile Editors.
Before you begin: Editing a Job Profile Cluster consists of adding or removing Target Profiles, adding or removing editors, adding Tags, deactivating and deleting the cluster.

Instructions:
Locate the Job Profile Cluster
1] Log into Calibrate and from your Dashboard, click the profile icon on the left of the page.
2] The list of Job Profiles and Job Cluster Profiles appears.
NOTE: The are three ways to locate the Job Profile Cluster you want to edit:

3] To use the search box to locate the Job Profile Cluster, make sure the Include Clusters checkbox is checked, enter the Job Profile Cluster title in the search box (Job Profile Clusters appear automatically).
NOTE: Job Profile Clusters have a yellow square to the left of the title with a number in it. The number indicated the number of Job Profiles in the cluster. |
NOTE: When you use the search box to find a Job Profile Cluster, the list returned may be so long that you will have to use the page controls to locate it within the search results. If so, see steps 6 and 7 for more details. |
4] To filter by Tags, start typing a Tag in the Filter by textbox.
5] A list of Tags appears. Click on the desired Tag.
6] To use the page controls to locate the Job Profile Cluster, you can either navigate through the list one page at a time using the page control at the bottom of the list by clicking the ">".
7] Or you can jump directly to a specific page in the Job Profile list by clicking the down arrow next to the page number and then clicking on the page you want to jump to from the list.
8] When you locate the Job Profile Cluster you want to edit, click on it. The Cluster Dashboard appears.
9] If the Job Profile Cluster is in the published state, click the Revise button in the upper right corner. This will change the Job Profile Cluster to the draft state and automatically increment the revision number. If the Job Profile Cluster is already in the draft state, go to step 10.
10] Click the three dot menu next to the Publish button.
11] From the popup menu, click Edit Details.
Update to the Latest Job Profiles
12] In the event that a Job Profile in the Cluster has been updated since the Cluster was created/last updated, you will see a notification ("!") next to the Job Profile in the Job Profile list on the Dashboard.
13] To update the Cluster to include the latest revision of a Job Profile, click on it. The details of the Job Profile appear to the right.
14] Click on Update.
Edit Details
15] From the Cluster Dashboard, in the Details section, edit the Job Profile Cluster Title or the Description if desired.
Add or Remove Job Profiles
16] Look for Job Profiles to add to the Cluster by either scrolling through the Job Profile list on the right or by entering a Job Profile Title into the search box at the top. Search results appear automatically.
17] When you find a Job Profile you wish to add to the Cluster, click the "+" to the left of the Job Profile.
18] To remove a Job Profile from the Cluster, locate it in the Target Profiles list on the page and click the "x" to the left of it.
Add or Remove Editors
19] To add Editors for your Job Profile Cluster, on the right side of the page, click the Editors button.
20] Scroll through the list to find Editors, or use the search box at the top by entering a name (first or last). Search results appear automatically.
21] To add Editors to your Job Profile Cluster, click the "+" sign to the left of every Editor you wish to add. The Editors you add appear in the Editors list on the page. You can add an unlimited number of Editors.
NOTE: If you want to add an Editor that is not yet on the list, you'll have to invite them and grant them permissions. To learn how to do that, see the document Inviting Users and Granting Permissions User Guide. |
22] To remove an Editor from the list, click the "x" to the left of the Editor's name in the Editor's list.
Add Tags
23] Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Tags section.
24] To add a Tag to the Cluster, start typing the Tag into the Add tags... textbox. A list of Tags already created appears with those letters.
25] If the Tag you want to add already exists, highlight it and hit Enter.
26] If the Tag you want to add does not exists, finish typing out the Tag and hit Enter.
Save Changes
27] When you're done making changes to the Cluster, in the upper right click Save.
28] To ignore all the changes you just made, click Cancel.
Revert a Job Profile Cluster Version
29] After you save changes to the Job Profile Cluster, but before you publish it, you want want to "undo" your changes and revert to the previous revision. To do that, click the three dot menu next to the Publish button.
30] From the popup menu, click Revert Version.
Deactivate a Job Profile Cluster
NOTE: Deactivating a Job Profile Cluster is not the same as deleting it. You can reactivate a Job Profile Cluster that has been deactivated. You cannot undelete one once it's been deleted. You will have to create it again from scratch if you delete it |
31] Click the three dot menu next to the Publish button.
32] From the popup menu click Deactivate Profile.
Reactivate a Job Profile Cluster
33] To reactivate a deactivated cluster, in the upper right corner of the page, click the Reactivate button.
Delete a Job Profile Cluster
NOTE: A Job Profile Cluster must be deactivated before you can delete it. You cannot delete a Job Profile Cluster if it’s still associated with an Award in Calibrate. |
34] Click the three dot menu and then click Delete Profile.
35] When the Warning box appears click Yes, Delete.
Publish a Job Profile Cluster
36] When you have the Job Profile Cluster the way you want it, click the Publish button in the upper right.
