Situation
When you go to edit an Award, it's possible that from the time the Award was created until now, one of more of the Courses in the Award has changed. In particular, some skills may have been added to or removed from the Course. The bottom line is the Award no longer includes the latest version of that Course.
How will you know? When you view the Award Dashboard, in the Courses section, if a Course has changed, it will display an exclamation point to the right of the Course title. In fact, if you hover your mouse over the exclamation point, it will let you know there's an update available.
Solution
If, for some reason you don't want to update the Award to reflect the updated Course, then do nothing. But, in most instances you'll want to update the Award to include the newest version of the Course. To do so, use the following steps:
1] Make sure the Award is in Draft mode. If it's not, click the Revise button in the upper right corner.
2] Click the exclamation point to the right of the Course title. The Course details appear to the right.
3] At the top of the Course details, you'll see the New Revision Available notice.
4] Click Update to the right. The Award now includes the updated Course and the exclamation point disappears.
