This article walks through the steps to change a user's Department permission settings in the Align Tab. Begin by navigating to the Users & Permissions page.
Next, identify which user you need to change account permission settings for and click the edit button on that user’s row.
Then click on the Align Module tab to open the user permission settings for Departments.
Department (Align) Permission Settings
There are two permission settings for departments:
- Department Member – create and edit their departments. Can access other departments that have been assigned to them.
- Department Owner – full access to all departments in Calibrate. Ability to manage department settings, remove users, and delete departments.
Next, identify the departments that this user needs access to by checking the appropriate boxes. After selecting a department assignment, use the dropdown menu on the right side to identify this user as “member,” or an “owner.”
After you’ve completed making your selections, click the save button to update this user’s permission settings.
This user’s Align (department) permission settings have now been updated.
