What Are Awards?
Also known as Programs, Degrees, or Certificates – Awards contain detailed information about your curriculum. Calibrate uses Awards to align your curriculum with the needs of employers. Awards help surface gaps in your curriculum by identifying skills that are missing from the Job Profiles that are targeted by an Award.
Components of an Award
Awards are made up of three components:
- Target Job Profiles – Validated Job Profiles that allow you to align your curriculum with the needs of your industry partners.
- Courses – Organize the Work Activities (hard skills) included your award into logical groupings.
- Gap Analysis – (alignment summary) Manage skill gaps in your curriculum and evaluate how well your Award aligns with industry needs.
Next, try creating a new Award yourself, or reference the "Creating an Award" article for more help.
