Now it's time open the Job Profile editor to rank and review the Work Activities (hard skills) in your Job Profile. Refer to the article about creating a Job Profile if you need help making a Job Profile, or learning how to begin editing a Job Profile.
Reminder - Job Profiles are living documents represent the skills associated with specific occupations
First, navigate to the Job Profiles page by clicking on the Profile icon in the vertical navigation menu on the left side of Calibrate. Then click on the Job Profile you would like to edit.
Click the Edit button to begin editing this Job Profile.
Click on the Work Activities tab to edit the hard skills in this Job Profile.
Work Activities Section
This is the Work Activities section. Each row is expandable and reveals additional information about that category of Work Activities.
Clicking on a row will reveal the individual Work Activities within that specific category.
PRO TIP - the number on each row (next to the category title)represents the number of individual Work Activities.
Once you've expanded the category, all of the individual Work Activities are visible. Now that all of the Work Activities are visible, it's time to start editing and ranking.
Review the Work Activity
Next, review the Work Activity and determine if it's relevant to the Job Profile you created.
PRO TIP - a Work Activity describes how major units of time are organized on the job.
Rank the Work Activity
If the Work Activity is relevant, then click and assign a ranking. If the Work Activity is not relevant, then click the X button to remove it.
Beneficial = lowest rank
Important = median rank
Critical = highest rank
Repeat this process for the Work Activities in each category (clicking on a row will expand that category, revealing the Work Activities).
NOTE - this should take between 10 - 30 minutes.
When you’re done, click on the Finished button to save your progress.
